How scary! I have anaphylaxis too (Sulfa antibiotics, Flu shot & sulfa based breathing treatments). Famotidine (Pepcid AC) really helps after these types of reactions (gut antihistamine). Don’t beat yourself up, please. What a scary situation to be in! Glad he’s doing better.

You're perfect, its not easy and yes, your body is different because you had a friggin baby. stop comparing your pre-mom bod to the one you have now, but your feelings are valid and i think most women who have child definitely understand. Poor Jared and poor you. Allergies are scary especially if they are as severe as that! Im so glad you are all ok though. Was just thinking back to the time my girls were little and some days were so long just trying to pass the time! Dont you have any little groups nearby you can attend with Brecklynn, we have baby and toddler groups in the uk where the kids get to play and interact and moms and sometimes dads get to chat with other parents and swap parenting tips etc. We also have like rhythm time classes with songs and movement for babies. This may help pass the boredom a bit better. Oh, and once Brecklynn is on her feet there will be no time for boredom 😂. ❤😊

I’m so glad Jared is okay! How scary. I remember in college, my roommate was deathly allergic to nuts and another roommates mom gave us cookies and told us the wrong ones had nuts and we had to stab our roommate with her pen and take her to the hospital. It was so scary! So sorry you had to go through that 💜

Thanks for sharing! I understand the way you felt with Jared because I went through the same with my son when he was a child. You’re just gliding through the days, thinking you’re prepared for anything but life will find a way to slap that feeling right out of you. I’m glad he’s good and that so are you and your adorable Brecklynn. BTW, I have my last pregnancy test, too; consider getting a shadow box frame and storing them in that along with other memories, like the ultrasound photos and her newborn pic. ❤

You’re doing an excellent job breastfeeding!!! Nursing, pumping, hand expressing, it all counts as breastfeeding-I’m grateful to my doula for teaching me this early into my breastfeeding journey. 🥰 My goal was 1 month, then 3 months, then 6 months… We’re on month 7 (my little boo was born on January) and we are still taking it one day, week, month at a time. Wishing you the best with your journey!!

Hey girl. Benadryl works for my Pittie, the vet told me to do 10 MG per every 10 pounds. For example, he weighs around 85 pounds, so I give him 80 mg of Benadryl, or I can give him 32 mL of liquid Benadryl. I've also tried Austin and Kat's/Bailey's No More Wiggles treats, and they work really good as well. There's 14 MG CBD/chew, and what I love most is these treats don't leave him all loopy or anything. If we are at home, and it's around bedtime or at night, I'll give him Benadryl, and he just sleeps through everything. However, if it's during the day, or we are out and about doing things I give him the treats. I wanted to try taking Ranger, our Pittie, to the fireworks show this year. We literally live within a couple of blocks walking distance to where the city does the show every year. I gave him his treats about 15- 20 minutes before we left, planning on going home if they didn't work. Girl!! They were amazing! The show was almost 30 minutes long, and he actually loved it! I was honestly so shocked, like I couldn't believe they actually worked as well as they did! About halfway through he even laid down, and was so relaxed! I definitely recommend trying them out. If you order from their site, I think you can get 15% off your first order. Obviously talk with your vet about what y'all think will work best for y'all, but we love them! 🥰❤️🤍🩵🥰

I am so happy for you that you have a Culver’s!! It’s my FAVORITE. I’m currently 23 weeks pregnant and already told my husband that’s the meal I want the minute that baby comes out lol. Also, I have a golden retriever and grooming is amazing! Make sure the groomer does not shave (allegedly it won’t grow back) but they can trim up their grinch toes, belly, chest, tail, etc. My dog always looks so good and stops shedding as bad for a few weeks. It will probably be about $80-$100 per doggy, but def worth it. :)
